Despairing? Defeated? Desolate? or just exhausted by the hardships of her day to day life?  This image symbolizes so much of what life in East Africa is like.  Often reflected in emotional extremes - joy to sorrow - in the blink of an eye.  What's interesting is that this woman appears to have money in her pocket and yet she sits slumped, and hopeless.  Why?  What's her story?  What story does this image tell?
