I was taking photos of various people during our visit to this tribe. Suddenly everyone moved away and this woman stepped forward - shouting rather aggressively. Eventually what I understood was that she was shouting at the other women in the group that they were wrong. What they were wearing was not right and a poor representation of the tribe and their traditions. She was the only one correctly dressed - their proper covering was the skin of the Colobus monkey. I should take only her photo and her child of course. So I did but she was still pretty annoyed as you can see in the painting.
The green, yellow, and red arrow-like forms on the right of the painting are actually representations of plastic arrows used as money in south and eastern Africa.
