The Colours of Music – Vivace

Vivace as a musical term instructs the musician to play in a lively, bright manner.  It also is used to mean vital, keen, hard headed, brisk or vivid.  This piece uses form and colour to reflect these meanings.  The lines curve and swirl from a central shape that is pushing into the canvas using the strength of its vivid colours to establish a place in the fast moving sound surrounding it.
